The North Drift Foundation advances our charitable aims by making grants to charities registered in England & Wales.
We invest funds for the long-term and use a portion of them every year to achieve a best-of-both-worlds approach, funding projects now and ensuring this can continue into the future.
We review the effects of our donations and vet charities' finances to ensure effect use of funds to make sure our grants make the greatest difference they can. Our current priorities are:

OPPORTUNITY INTERNATIONAL
An example of one of our grants
Opportunity International is a UK registered charity that offers financial and business education, alongside agricultural, small business, and personal loans and savings accounts to marginalised groups in poverty-stricken areas. This leads to people being able to lift themselves out of poverty for good and creates jobs and prosperity among their communities.
The highest paid member of staff received less than £110,000 remuneration and 91% of expenditure was on the charitable activities (with the rest being fundraising).
